First lets see what made the clubhouse so popular among the millennials !
First of all, It's an Invite only app. To log into the app, an existing user has to invite a new user.
This is a cool feature to attract and grab the attention.
There are many rooms recommended to us when we open the app.
We can join and be part of any room and if possible be part of the hosted event as well.
Clubhouse enabled people to network and interact with other peeps.
Since Its audio only app which made it even more convenient for people to randomly join and use it.
So what made such an app to decline?
1. First thing is the Ease of Covid lockdown, people started meeting again in person which is even more fruitful.
2. The business revenue model of the app, since the app is free with no overhead costs it's difficult to run at such a huge scale.
3. The credibility of fake people on the app.
4. The design and Lack of an AI enriched system.
5. Nothing new from the APP for creators in the past few months.
6. Tapping an icon for people to get them to join, along with hundreds of other people doing the same thing, seems tedious and not exactly a rich experience as per my usage.
